I Run Penang

A business trip is the best opportunity to run around new places. I recently went to Penang and got to run around the area.

Penang is an area in North Western Malaysia by the Melacca Strait. It’s divided into two parts, the island part and peninsular part. With a total land area of roughly 1000 sq km (400 sq mi) and population of 1.6 million, Penang is a just nicely populated. A middle size city, with small bars and shops by the street, and nicely paved sidewalks.

The old city, Georgetown, is on UNESCO’s world heritage list. Alas, I was lost to another part of the city when running to Georgetown.

Have you been there? What’s good about it?
